St. Francis Hall Wedding: Natalie + Eric

Natalie and Eric do not hide their feelings, period. I have seldom found a couple more open with their joy than these two, and it resonated with me on a profound level. When we met before the wedding--before they had chosen to have me photograph their wedding, in fact--they wanted to know if I could convey the importance. In other words, did we have trust. After witnessing their wedding, I could see why trust is important. They let it all hang out. They made themselves vulnerable to each other, their families, to everyone. And it is a trust that I deeply respect.

And, on top of it all, they made a fantastic party. Everyone had fun. (And I also want to express my gratitude for the Indian vendor meals.) I like the fact that their faces, sitting on the chairs during the hora, have essentially the same same sense of jumping off the diving board in 3rd grade as the photo of them directly after walking down the aisle together, after the wedding. They jumped. They are excited. They want everyone else to feel the same.
