For the Simple Album, we have a variety of cover materials that include linens and silks. For an additional fee, you can upgrade to leather. Name and date imprinting is included. We will email you the samples!
For the Heirloom 50 & 100, a large selection of cover materials and designs are available including leather, vegan leather, silks, linens and book cloth. All books include imprinting and all the cover options. We will email you a list of cover fabrics.

This is a meeting we schedule with the album designer so you can work on the design of the album together. During our meeting we go through spread by spread and perfect the album to your liking. You can choose to do this in a 2-hour design session over zoom or you can choose to work independently through our proofing software to make comments on spreads. We’ll walk you through the options and decide together what is the best way to work on the design. You will have the opportunity to sign off on the proof of your album before it goes to print.

We aim for 8-20 weeks after you purchase the album to have it shipped to you and in your hands. A lot depends on how quickly the decisions are made about design, cover material and other choices.

Once you’ve purchased your album, we’ll send you an intro email that will include a deadline to have the design finalized by. We typically give about two months to get the work done and make all the decisions. We find that giving ourselves and our clients deadlines helps us set a goal to work towards. Once the deadline has passed, there is a nominal fee to revisit and finalize the design. No worries though, we give you plenty of reminders and check-ins. If the album decisions are not made within 6 months of the purchase date, there is a $250 fee to finalize the album.

Duplicates are offered at a discounted rate. Since every album is custom, we can give you a quote once the main album has been designed. Sometimes the design can work in other album options too.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
01 Some of your albums do not include a design session, how does that work?
You simply provide your album designer with the selection of images you would like included in the album, and choose how you’d like the exterior of the album to look. That’s it. We take care of the rest. Proofing is not included with this album, but if you would like to see the album before we send it off to print, we can accommodate your request for an additional fee.
02 Can I get a refund if I don’t like the album when I receive it?
Because we work so closely with you to finalize the album design, we are certain you will love it! We can’t give refunds on custom work, but if for any reason you think there might be an error on our part, let us know and we can discuss your options. Simple Albums are designed in house and sent directly to the printer, so there are no changes to the design, but you will have a choice about the cover material and cover photo and you are welcome to give us notes that might help with the design.
03 Do I have to pay for shipping?
No- shipping is included.
04 Can I request any retouch work to my photos that are included in the album?
Yes, we want your final album to be fully retouched to your specifications. Any minimal requests your album designer will do for you. Extensive retouching (removing people, changing major objects in a scene) is outsourced and requires an additional fee.
06 Are all of the cover materials included in the price of the album?
Heirloom albums have all the cover materials and imprinting included. Simple albums can be upgraded to leather for a fee.
