Elegant Fall Wedding at the St. Regis, Washington DC: Emily and Andrew
Washington, DC holds a special place in the hearts of Emily and Andrew as it’s the city where this sweet couple met, and so it only made sense to get married in DC and incorporate some city-themed aspects into their wedding day. The St. Regis was the perfect location for Emily and Andrew’s wedding that was family focused and full of elegant, modern details. The weather was gorgeous for an outdoor first look and portraits in the neighborhood around the hotel before their outdoor wedding ceremony in the courtyard of the St. Regis.
Emily’s clean and modern, satin wedding dress was the perfect compliment to their elegant fall wedding in Washington, DC. I was so happy to hear that Emily was wearing a long, pearl studded wedding veil, as I knew we would have the opportunity to create some beautiful wedding portraits using her veil. If you have been following my posts, then you already know I always say yes to wedding veils!
The ballroom wedding reception featured lush centerpieces of white blooms, greenery, and peeks of blue florals. But the real showstopper of the wedding reception was the live band that kept the dance floor packed with Emily and Andrew’s family and friends surrounding them all night.
