New Year’s Eve Wedding at the Four Seasons, Washington DC: Molly and Joel

In the course of my career as a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a few New Year’s Eve weddings, and they never disappoint! Molly and Joel’s epic New Year’s Eve wedding in Washington, DC at the Four Seasons was no exception! The elegant affair featured a neutral color palette with gold accents and pops of color from bright florals. Bride Molly was stunning in a lace wedding dress with a long wedding veil, while groom, Joel, stood out from his groomsmen in traditional tuxedos by opting for a navy blue tux. The bridesmaids wore long black dresses in mismatched styles, which really allowed the pink blooms in their bouquets to pop.

We didn’t let a little bit of rain dampen the mood and still ventured out in Georgetown for some wedding day portraits. A traditional Jewish wedding ceremony was followed by a wedding reception with a packed dance floor & a band that kept the party going all night! Molly changed into a second bridal dress for the party- a short reception dress with sparkle and fringe that was perfect for a New Year’s Eve bash, complete with confetti drop at midnight.
