Spring District Winery Wedding: Christian and Nicky

Christian and Nicky went to high school together but didn’t meet until after graduation when both were on summer vacations in Ocean City, Maryland. The pair went on their first date shortly after, and spent the remainder of summer together before Nicky left in the fall for a semester abroad. Navigating a long distance relationship through college, they eventually lived together in Baltimore and now in DC.

On a trip to Kiawah Island, SC to celebrate Nicky’s birthday, Christian proposed on one of their many walks on the beach. And managed to surprise Nicky by having their families join in the weekend celebration. How sweet!

After a fun engagement session in Washington, DC last summer, we couldn’t wait for Christian & Nicky’s spring wedding at District Winery earlier this year. We loved Nicky’s flowing wedding dress train and that the pair was up for some fun portraits- don’t miss the champagne celebration below!

Our favorite detail from Nicky & Christian’s wedding day has got to be their unique wedding seating chart with the mini chairs- so fun! And the fact that they arranged for a food truck to stop by the wedding for some late night snacks!
