Summer Wedding at Chesapeake Bay Foundation: Laura and Aaron

Laura & Aaron planned a beautiful summer wedding on the water at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. With her parents still living in Annapolis, Laura was able to get ready at home, before heading to the beach to meet Aaron for their first look reveal. Once at the venue, we made to sure to take full advantage of all the amazing backdrops for portraits- beach, trees, the docks, and even a gorgeous field at sunset.

This sweet couple truly made their wedding day a family-focused celebration and made sure to prioritize blending special traditions. The bride, her parents, the bridesmaids and the groom worked on creating the floral centerpieces and bouquets themselves adding a nice handmade touch to their wedding day. They also created their own ketubah ceremony to fit their blended backgrounds. It was truly a day about family and love, but the sweet flower girls may have stole the show!

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is one of our favorite wedding venues in Annapolis, in part because of its sustainability policies & practices, and also for all the wonderful backdrops there are to explore for wedding portraits. Dancing in a field at sunset was a dream come true!
