Summer in the city is always an amazing time and I love getting to explore different areas of Washington, DC. Hannah and Scott wanted to plan an outdoor engagement session this summer so they could bring along their sweet pup. We started on the trails around the C & O Canal and spent some time in Cady’s Alley, exploring all the fun backdrops for their wedding engagement photos. I can’t wait for Hannah & Scott’s wedding day next spring at Arena Stage.
Here’s a pro photographer tip for you: If you’re feeling nervous or uncomfortable about having wedding engagement photos taken, bring your pet! Cuddling with your dog makes for great photos, like with Hannah and Scott, and it helps to break the ice in front of the camera.
