Glam Washington, DC Wedding at Fathom Gallery: Celine and Pamir
Fathom Gallery is a gem of a wedding venue in Washington, DC for intimate weddings and gatherings. I love the outdoor rooftop space for a wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The light and airy gallery space is a bit of a blank canvas that can be perfect for any style of wedding.
Celine and Pamir planned a summer wedding in the city with glam and colorful details. Their closest family and friends were in attendance to celebrate their union. After a first look, we traveled to the Jefferson Memorial for portraits before heading to the gallery. I loved both the bride and groom’s modern fashion style and we created some stunning portraits at the monuments. The rooftop wedding ceremony included Persian traditions to honor Pamir’s heritage. Celine’s father has passed, so her mom walked her down the aisle and the pair later shared a special dance at the reception. This day was full of special moments.
The ceremony floral arch was stunning and mimicked the lush and colorful centerpieces on the reception tables that popped against the white table linens. As if one fabulous wedding look wasn’t enough, both the bride and groom changed for the reception after cutting the cake. Going from an off the shoulders, beaded sparkle wedding dress, Celine changed into a short, feathered fringe reception dress. Pamir swapped his black tuxedo jacket for a white jacket for a twist on the classic look. Late night dancing was rewarded with a late night snack of burgers and fries. And we ended the night with some playful portraits.
