Elegant Winter Wedding at Annapolis Hotel: Sarah and Jimmy

Sarah and Jimmy planned an elegant winter wedding at The Graduate Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. This was the first wedding on the books for 2023 and what a day we had! A classic color palette of white, black and gold was warmed up with bright pops of colors from the floral arrangements and bouquets. Sarah’s bridesmaids wore classic black dresses in mismatched styles. One new wedding trend I’m loving is a bridesmaids reveal - you get some really amazing reaction photos when the wedding party sees the bride in her wedding dress for the first time.

We braved the cold for a rooftop first look between Sarah and Jimmy. Such a great moment for couples to have with each other before the wedding day really kicks off and turns to a blur. The hotel ballroom space where the wedding ceremony was held was such a unique backdrop, with a skylight ceiling and filled with various paintings and photos on the walls. We braved the cold again for a few portraits outside after the wedding ceremony before returning to the ballroom to heat up the dance floor.
