Intimate Backyard Wedding: Omer and Barett

We love non-traditional weddings - especially when there is an emphasis on the couple and their love story and their day is filled with personal details. Omer and Barett met in Hawaii working at the opera. Barett grew up in Maryland and Omer in Tel-Aviv which led the couple to decide to get married not once but twice. For their first wedding, stateside, they decided to get married at the groom’s mother’s house in Maryland, a home that is lovingly named "Eden Valley ''. We took full advantage of the property to create some portraits in the woods and by the river after a joyous wedding ceremony. Omer and Baretts’s wedding was truly a blending of families. One nephew acted as officiant and another nephew built the wedding chuppah. A clear tent was set up in the backyard for the wedding reception where guests were treated to custom bottles of olive oil and brick oven pizza. A soul band kicked off some dancing and the rest is history.
