Multicultural District Winery DC Wedding: Meredith + Eric

Meredith and Eric had a beautiful wedding at District Winery. It was such a gorgeous wedding – a stunning bride and a handsome groom tied the knot in front of an origami crane backdrop made by family and friends held together by strings.  It is a family tradition on Eric’s mother’s side to have 1,001 paper cranes strung on garlands at the wedding, so they had 1,001 paper cranes hanging beautifully when they said their I Dos.

Meredith moved to Brooklyn shortly after she and Eric met in the summer of 2012 in DC, but they remained inseparable.  This beautiful couple dated long distance between the two cities for the majority of their relationship until Meredith moved back to DC about a year ago. Fulfilling a promise to Meredith of returning to NYC for frequent visits, Eric popped the big question on the Brooklyn Bridge and the rest is history! Both cities are important to them so when it came to the venue selection, the couple immediately fell in love with District Winery because the venue has a Brooklyn feel to it and was opened by owners who moved from NYC to DC after the success of Brooklyn Winery.

Congratulations Meredith + Eric! Thank you for letting Dag and I document this special day in your life and we wish you a lifetime of happiness, love and laughter!
