Shanika and Robert's DC wedding at the Newseum

Shanika and Robert had an amazing wedding filled with Sri Lankan traditions, music and lots of colorful sari's worn by the wedding party and many guests. Shanika's dress I was so impressed with, a traditional Sri Lankan top and skirt completed with a gorgeous beaded sari. Love!

Shanika and Robert were each welcomed down the aisle by Sri Lankan dancers, and their ceremony was rich with several traditions throughout. I see a lot of weddings, and it's not often you get to see a ceremony like this. I was so honored to be the one to document it.
