Spring Wedding at Arena Stage in Washington DC: Hannah and Scott

Hannah and Scott had an elegant wedding this past spring at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. This unique venue in the city is a modern blank canvas for weddings and events and I was excited to explore the space with Hannah, Scott and their wedding party. We began the day with a first look wedding reveal before the wedding party joined the bride and groom on a trolley bus for portraits around the city on our way to the wedding venue. The modern look and lines of the building allowed us to create some beautiful portraits.

Gathering with their families, Hannah and Scott signed their ketubah before a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony under a chuppah adorned with lush white and peach blooms. A cocktail hour on the outdoor balcony gave wedding guests a great view of some iconic Washington, DC sights. The lobby space of the venue was transformed into an elegant reception space with simple design and a white and gold color palette. Hannah and Scott shared a first dance as newlyweds before a lively hora kicked off the wedding reception and a packed dance floor.
