Modern Washington DC Wedding Engagement Session at the National Gallery Of Art: Axel and Melissa
Spring in Washington, DC often means Cherry Blossom season, especially when it comes to photo sessions in the city. The Tidal Basin and Lincoln Memorial areas are often top choices for couples who want to have their wedding engagement session in Washington, DC. That can also mean crowds as everyone gathers to capture the beauty of these blooms. I was glad that Melissa and Axel opted for a different, more modern backdrop for their engagement photos this past spring. The National Gallery of Art is a great location for a wedding engagement session if you are wanting photos with clean backdrops and a modern but timeless feeling. There are many great spots to explore in the gallery to add variety to your photos, the large marble staircase being a particular favorite of mine. There are some great options outside too and we even found a few Cherry Blossoms of our own. It was a great session with a fun loving couple and I look forward to their wedding this fall.
