Playful Spring Wedding Engagement Session in Washington, DC: Sofie and Jake

One of our best tips for couples planning a wedding engagement photo session is to choose a location that has meaning to them as a couple. Whether it’s where you had your first date or your favorite museum or park, choosing a location you love helps tell the story of you as couple. Sofie and Jake decided to start their engagement session at one of their favorite date night restaurants before we explored a bit of the Logan Circle neighborhood. It was a sweet and carefree spring evening and Sofie and Jake’s playful spirits shine through in these photos. I look forward to seeing them again next year for their summer wedding at the National Portrait Gallery.
